Seems to do the job, I am apprehensive about my RYOBI batteries! Supposedly they are guaranteed for 3 years but they sure haven't lasted 3 years! Not on my hand held power tools or my larger batteries such as this trimmer takes. They Last maybe 2 years maybe at most, then it's been Horrible trying to get them to exchange the dead batteries for a replacement. But I like the tools, batteries not so much or the hassle to replace them, especially when you need them and they are very very expensive! Great piece of equipment for light duty.... 8 Nov 21

The 40Volt system is powerful and when combined with the trimmer head this is a great combination. The trimmer works well on thick branches and does a good job trimming all my bushes. The ability to use this with or without the extension adds to its versatility. The only thing I would change would be compatibility with Xpand-it tools. just what i needed 4 Nov 21

I love the tool, it does a very good job of trimming and saves me the effort and risk of climbing a latter to reach the tops or extend to the back of the hedges. The battery lasts plenty long enough to handle my entire yard with ease. It performs very well and no electric cord to drag around. Great for trimming my evergreens and trees. This trimmer will cut with the blade in up or downward angles so I don't have to bend or stretch to reach the bottom or top of my shrubs.
